Bates 9305 Handbag

$380.00
sold out

The Bates 9305 bag…

This gorgeous little slim line bag is made with brown leather, beautiful vintage brass hardware and neutral thread. A stunning combination.

The strap is adjustable and so the bag can be worn as a shoulder bag or cross body bag.

The Bates saddle this bag was made from was rescued from hard rubbish of all places. This is the first saddle bag I made after the Hubertus prototype.

Some areas of the bag (like where the serial number is sewn on) utilize stitching holes from the original saddle construction so are not stitched at the same SPI as the rest of the bag. The whole bag is hand stitched.

This bag comes in a navy linen dust bag, and wrapped up beautifully in a box - the ideal present or just to make an impact!

Components;

Bag Body - top saddle flaps

Bag flap - saddle skirt

Bag side panels - saddle seat

Bag strap - a pair of reins

Bag closure tongue - saddle seat

Keepers for the strap - The little leather bit from behind the stirrup Bar

Buckles - matching solid brass, upcycled from a very very old bridle.

BONUS recieve a free Horse Shoe nail critter when you buy this bag! No code needed
