The Stubben Wotan Tote-ish Bag

$350.00
sold out

The Stubben Wotan Tote-ish bag.

This one is flaunting all its curves. Made from the top flaps of a Stubben Wotan I have retained the OG shape for a really soft & eye catching outline. The saddle this was made from was German made / black & gold badged Wotan. The gusset piece is made from a fitzwilliam girth (the back fold, if you’d really like to know!).

The straps are made from noseband hangers and are attached alternate ways to balance the look.

There’s a cute little brass bit feature on the front for a subtle bit of pizazz (see what I did there?). This is attached with turquoise lace and the holes in the gusset piece from where the keepers were when it was a girth, are sewn with turquoise thread. If the tuquoise is not to your taste I can very easily take off the lace and unstitch the turquoise thread. The brass bit is then held in place with brown lace and the stitch holes on the gusset piece would be blank (they patina beautifully with conditioning!).

The strap has been carefully measured to make it easy and comfortable to wear!

This bag is very nearly finished but my thumbs feel like they may fall off from all the stitching so I’m listing it while they rest up before finishing it!

This is all handsewn by myself, the perimeter is 80cm so there’s 160cm of hand stitching just in the outside edges.

$11 flat rate post or pick up from Denison 3858.
